Canadian Security names new Publisher

Working within the Security Group at CLB Media, Brown will continue to
oversee the editorial direction and mandate of both Canadian Security
and SP&T News as well as manage accounts that are exclusive to
Canadian Security, while SP&T News Publisher Peter Young will
handle all accounts common to both publications.

and digital properties at a time when our readers have an even greater
thirst for information about the complex industry they work in,” said
Brown. “The security industry in Canada is vibrant and full of
dedicated professionals. I have come to enjoy this community immensely
and look forward to expanding my role in it as Publisher of Canadian
Security.”

Online Editor Neil Sutton will continue in his role and take on
additional editorial responsibilities with both publications.

Brown has been the Editor of Canadian Security since 2004 and became
the Editorial Director of the Security group in 2008 with
responsibility for the development of print and online content for
Canadian Security and SP&T News, which serves dealers, installers
and integrators across Canada.

A graduate of Ryerson University, Brown has been a writer and editor in
the publishing industry for 20 years working in newspapers and the B2B
publishing world.

For 30 years, Canadian Security has been the leading national security
publication for corporate security directors, facility managers and
loss prevention professionals as well as the integrators who work with
them.
