According to an article that was published on the Financial Times website over the weekend, there have been calls from U.S. state officials and unions for greater scrutiny into the potential acquisition of G4S by the two companies vying for it — Allied Universal and GardaWorld — along with their private equity backers. Read said he wanted to “learn more about how the companies will handle complicated questions.”
