
Calgary man charged for drone incident near airport

News Transportation calgary drones UAVsCalgary police have laid charges against a local man in relation to an incident with an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that occurred near the Calgary International Airport in January, according to Metronews.ca.
The police say they observed a man in a park flying a UAV, or drone, under the flight path of an airport runway.
The police later apprehended the man, who faces a charge of interfering with a navigation facility to endanger the safety of an aircraft. This is said to be the first charge of this kind in Calgary.
