Allied Universal acquires janitorial services company

Allied Universal recently announced the acquisition of The Millard Group, LLC, a Morton Grove, Ill.-based commercial facility services company. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 1915 under the name Chicago Window Cleaning, The Millard Group is a third-generation family owned business with a long history in commercial facility services. The Millard Group provides clients with an integrated solution through its full range of supervised janitorial, window cleaning, metal maintenance and specialty services.

The Millard Group is one of the largest privately owned janitorial companies operating in over 30 states with more than 2,150 employees. The company provides a comprehensive range of fully supervised facility services within the following sectors: managed commercial; corporate campuses; retail; education; health care and hospitality; and industrial.
