American Dynamics, part of Tyco Security Products, has announced two new models of digital video recorders: the ADTVR-VS2, and the ADTVR-LT. The ADTVR-VS2 offers easy navigation, instant playback, remote client software, advanced dual streaming technology, and more. The ADVTR-LT comes in 8 and 16 channel versions, providing many of the same features such as mapping and simultaneous playback. Both recorders offer integration with Kantech access control systems.
MEDER electronic, manufacturer of miniature switches, sensors and relays, announces the availability of the MK20 series of proximity sensors, magnetically operated reed switches in a cylindrical module, fitted with interconnect cable. The MK20 series is small in size and ideal for position and limit switches, door and window security system applications, and for water level detection in coffee makers, washing machines, or dishwashers. The series is offered in a choice of cables, connectors, and colours.
JVC Professional Products introduced the TK-T8101WPRU, an outdoor analogue bullet camera with 10-bit digital signal processing and integrated IR LED technology. Part of JVC’s LoLux line of security cameras, it provides True Day/Night performance in challenging lighting environments, including complete darkness.
The new smaller ievo Micro includes many original ievo Ultimate reader features such as multispectral imaging from Lumidigm, seamless integration and an 8,000 unique fingerprint capacity. Having launched the original ievo Ultimate reader two years ago, ievo has now implemented the Lumidigm Mercury product to produce a lower cost biometric solution, based on responses from installers of the original reader. From this feedback, the idea of an indoors-only fingerprint reader was created.
PureTech Systems Inc., a manufacturer of thermal video analytic software, announced that it has integrated its PureActiv wide area surveillance solution with the VOT-320 Thermal IP camera from Bosch. The integration brings together PureTech's long range video analytic detection capability with Bosch's thermal IP camera, which captures heat-radiating objects up to nearly 13,000 feet away. The solution provides long range detection in conditions including precipitation, no light, smog, haze and sunrise/sunset. It also provides the ability to dynamically display the target's location on a map-enabled video management command and control.
