Paladin Security has announced the appointment of Andrew Pattison, CHPA, as Senior Director, Healthcare, where he will support the company's healthcare clients coast to coast.

According to the company, since joining Paladin Security as a Security Officer in 2004, Pattison has excelled in the healthcare security field where, for the past several years as Director of Healthcare in BC, he has done an outstanding job managing the large and complex BC Lower Mainland healthcare contract, and providing direct support to the company’s Interior and Northern Health contracts in BC, while supporting Paladin’s healthcare efforts across the country as it expanded this year to Newfoundland and Labrador with the opening of the  BC Lower Mainland healthcare contract branch.

Pattison will continue to provide operational leadership for Paladin’s BC Lower Mainland healthcare contracts, with oversight from COO Don MacAlister; both of whom are among only a handful of Canadians selected to serve on the International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) Councils and Commissions.

Pattison will work closely with the Paladin Director of Healthcare in Alberta and its key healthcare experts and clients on the east coast, who have been consulted on this change, to ensure best practices nationwide in training, documentation, performance metrics, and association membership and designations or certifications.
