The Sound Acoustics C-540T commercial tuner amplifier provides constant-voltage outputs for background music and voice paging. According to the vendor, its ultra low-noise, high-headroom circuitry provides crystal clear audio for the most demanding environments, and is designed to allow system expansion, easy installation and intuitive operation.


The amp’s features include:
•    five multi-use inputs;
•    40W RMS output @ 25/70/100V & 4Ohm;
•    digital tuner with RS232 PC software control greater than 48 tuner per-sets;
•    colour-coded inputs and outputs;
•    front panel iPod, MP3 or computer input;
•    PRO-RVC input allowing up to six additional inputs (three mic and three line) on Cat5 with volume control;
•    High-headroom, low-noise mic/line pre-amplifiers;
•    individually switchable 24V phantom power (mic inputs);
•    telephone input with auto override and volume control;
•    removable front panel knobs (with security covers);
•    music on hold dual zone outputs (tuner/aux/MP3);
•    chime tone contacts with volume control;
•    pre-amp input/output;
•    removable terminal block connectors;
•    multiple override modes;
•    switchable HPF (high pass filters);
•    mic input and main outputs;
•    remote master volume control (via 10kohm potentiometer and PRO-RVC);
•    onboard compressor (to prevent distortion overload); and
•    cMETus approval E112876.
