Videx announces two smart CyberKey cabinets that provide three layers of key security: secure access to the key cabinet, secure access to individually programmed keys, and an audit report of each employee’s key activity throughout a facility.
AElement is a new RFID hotel lock from SALTO Systems that provides an enhanced guest experience using on-line wireless technology and features stunning, cutting edge design.
The CyberLock Electronic Lock and Key System offers a solution for fire departments and emergency medical service organizations that need to get control of their keys and track and control access to their controlled substances. CyberLock uses the lock hardware that is already present in rescue vehicle and firehouse narcotics safes. Simply replace the mechanical cylinders inside existing safe locks with CyberLock electronic cylinders.

HID Global announced the introduction of the OMNIKEY 5321 CR USB Reader, a waterproof contactless PC-linked smart card reader that enables the use of logical access in hygienic environments.
The OMNIKEY 5321 CR USB Reader features: · A uniquely designed sealed housing for clean rooms or any area with modern aesthetic needs · Support for HID iCLASS® and MIFARE®, as well as three ISO standards for contactless cards, including ISO 14443 A/B, ISO 15693 and Microsoft® WHQL · Standard application interfaces of PC/SC, Synchronous-API (on top of PC/SC)
The reader reads/writes to 13.56MHz contactless smart cards in all three high frequency standards and economically supports end-user environments where a variety of cards and tags are in use, including HID iCLASS, NXP MIFARE, DESFire, SMART-MX, ICODE, Texas Instruments TagIT and Infineon my-d to name a few. The reader also supports contactless smart cards up to 848 Kbps, providing fast data transmission within a durable housing design that is fully optimized for advanced contactless applications.
Additionally, the reader supports HID on the Desktop.
Secura Key has rolled out two new models of its e*Access Kits, which come with everything required to install a two-door access control system except the door locks and cabling. The kits come without cards, allowing the dealer to custom-order credentials in cases where the 25-pack of ISO cards with standard artwork is not appropriate. Kits 5 and 6 are for customers who prefer keytags or who need cards with no printing, custom printing, or a specific facility code or numbering. Kits 5 and 6 contain the SK-ACP panel, a power supply, two readers, SK-NET software, a user manual and a cable that connects the panel to a PC. Kits 1 and 2 include all the above, plus a starter pack of 25 e*Tag cards. The e*ACCESS 3 & 4 Add-On Kits include only the panel, power supply and two readers, allowing the dealer to get kit pricing without paying for the extra components.
Onity's Integra 5 electronic locking platform is now being made available to the commercial access control market. Due to Integra 5's ability to integrate off-line (stand alone) electronic locking devices into an online (hard-wired) access control system, it provides an affordable locking solution for commercial facilities of all kinds, including health care facilities, military bases, government buildings and corporate offices. Onity is part of UTC Fire & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp.
Onity's Integra 5 locking platform combines both online and offline locking devices into a single integrated access control system. Information about who is allowed to access specific doors, along with any associated time and date parameters, is stored within each individual lock. This greatly reduces the cost of installation by eliminating the need for costly wiring to any offline doors. The lock hardware itself provides additional cost savings.
Features of the Onity Integra 5 system include: Client-server architecture Multiple RDBMS support (Microsoft® SQL or Firebird) Flexible Kiosk ISO track data management Online devices may be controlled remotely from any user PC Future upgrades automated. Site upgrades server, & server upgrades clients during login Designed for any facility size Can incorporate staff and/or student ID cards PC based; Windows® 2000, 2003 and XP compatible Off-line and on-line locks fully integrated within one system Manages up to 65,000 users and 65,000 doors Capacity of up to 3,000 users per stand-alone lock Allows for individually customized access privileges Lock audit trail of up to the last 1,184 events Provides entry activity reports by date, time and user Ethernet, modem and RS485 connections to on-line devices Locking plan matrix for a complete visual representation Automatic expiration of resident cards in individual doors (personalized plan) Supports magnetic-stripe technology
Using patented millimeter-wave imaging technology, the eqo screener
generates a three-dimensional image revealing any hidden threats as a
person passes through a portal and turns in front of a square vertical
panel. A remote operator then checks the image for any threatening
items hidden on the body or beneath clothing. Privacy filters built
into eqo such as face blurring provide anonymity for passengers.
Designed
with limited lobby space and screening speed concerns in mind, eqo is
intended to be installed in high-profile critical infrastructure
including government buildings, embassies, jails, federal courthouses,
hotels, mass transit hubs, special event venues, major attractions, and
sky scrapers. It can also be used for screening at airports.
The Enforcer "no-touch" request-to-exit sensor is now available in a
white décor-style single-gang wall plate (SD-927PWCQ). This sensor uses
reliable IR technology to request egress from a protected area, or
activate a device with the simple wave of a hand.
Sirenlock Model 715 decreases the amount of stealing that takes place inside stores and prevents perpetrators from leaving unauthorized exit doors with merchandise in hand. It provides 15-30 second delayed egress and has a built-in 95db Dual Piezo alarm which when triggered alerts the authority to the scene. This easy-to-install surface mounted unit meets UL specifications and the NFPA 1012 Life Safety Code. It includes a deadbolt/deadlatch standard panic bar and an armored door cord for wiring.
