AFI acquires majority interest in U.S.-based firm

Milton, Ont.-based AFI has acquired a majority interest in U.S.-based International Management Assistance Corporation (IMAC).
The merger of the Canadian and U.S. companies marks the formation of a single source provider of labour dispute and business continuity services.

AFI says the integration of the two companies answers their corporate client's needs for a greater breadth of services for business operations located in both Canada and the United States. The new entity will mean a consistent corporate culture, increased choice and a more cohesive range of security services across the continent.
